Before starting work, wash the surfaces to be treated with SONAX Gloss Shampoo. SANDING: Depending on the depth of the scratch, sanding may be necessary. If so, place one of the enclosed flower-shaped sanding pads beneath the polishing stamp, then moisten the paintwork with water and gently sand the scratch, working in circular movements and applying slight pressure. Do not sand through to the primer and do not tilt! Afterwards, wipe off any abrasive residue with one of the enclosed Polishing Cloths. A matt area will remain. WARNING! Sanding is necessary in case of deep scratches only. Many scratches and marks can be removed without this step. PRE-POLISHING: Apply Polish 1 from the tube to the scratched or sanded area. Wrap the polishing stamp with a clean polishing fleece. Afterwards, polish the scratched or sanded area by applying high pressure, until the scratches or the sanding marks are no longer visible. Depending on the density or depth of the scratches, this may take several minutes. If the polishing area becomes too dry, apply more Polish 1. Afterwards, wipe off polish residue with the Polishing Cloth. FINISH: Apply Finish 2 to the pre-polished area. Wrap a new, clean part of the polishing cloth around the polishing stamp. Applying medium pressure, rub area until the desired surface shine is attained. Afterwards, wipe off residue with the Polishing Cloth.
